Morgan County is home to HunkerDowns Fresh Market, located at 146 Academy Street at Madison Markets. HunkerDowns is a "Green Grocery" in its third year of business. Owners Jennifer and Michael Dean offer a wide variety of local, farm fresh produce including tomatoes, sweet corn, collards, green beans, peppers, summer squash, onions, watermelons, peaches and strawberries.

Recently partnering with local farm owner Russell Johnston, HunkerDowns has begun selling the farm's milk just this year. Johnston Dairy Farm produces milk that's processed and bottled right here in Morgan County. The milk is low-heat pasteurized and non-homogenized (which means you'll need to shake it up before pouring yourself a glass). In short, it's just plain better for you!

Furthermore, HunkerDowns also specialized in homemade jellies made from their very own recipes, as well as Georgia Made, Georgia Grown sauces and syrups.
